First, if we have chosen this 3-star campsite in Saint Hilaire de Riez, it's because of its proximity to the beach. We've had too many experiences of searching for parking spots, which were impossible to find, right next to the beaches. We also wanted to avoid bringing all the sand from Vendée back into our car. So, the ideal compromise was to find a campsite located a stone's throw from the beaches We could go there whenever we wanted. Within minutes, our feet were sinking into the warm sand. You can't imagine how good it felt to spend hours facing the ocean! To contemplate this sea stretching to the horizon, to let ourselves be lulled by the sound of the waves and to get our fill of vitamins thanks to the sun. We returned feeling refreshed from our trip.
In addition to having a dream situation, we were able to fully enjoy the activities organised by the teams. The professionalism and unfailing good humour of the entertainers must be highlighted. Without them, our stay would have been different. The children loved spending time in the kids' club. Each time they were happy to tell us about their adventures.
