Going on holiday is sometimes a source of stress for me. I mustn't forget anything. In fact, we'd need a semi-trailer to go on holiday every year. You have to admit that we're often afraid of buying things there for fear of being ripped off. Seasonal shops sometimes have a bad reputation. We tend to think they put prices up because they're by the coast. But not at all! Last year, we booked into a Camping nearby desert Shops à Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and we had the pleasant surprise of being able to do our shopping as easily as possible, and above all without breaking the bank!

This stay took place at Camping The Trade Winds at Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, and we had a lovely family holiday. We first dropped our belongings off in the mobile home and got settled in. We soon felt at home because the accommodation was spacious enough for us not to be on top of each other. Then, I went to the Shops All near to stock up on fresh produce and I was pleasantly surprised. The fresh, local produce was the same price, if not cheaper. It was brilliant!

Choose your campsite near the shops in Saint Hilaire
The advantage of staying in a Camping nearby Of Shops it's also the fact that it's possible to find a small souvenir easily, by strolling through the alleyways of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. Markets are also present a stone's throw from the campsite almost every day of the week, between the town centre and Sion-sur-l'Océan. So it’s very pleasant to return to our terrace and have lunch like this. My best memory: the freshly caught seafood which delighted young and old alike.

Camping les Alizés remains an ideal stopover that delighted the whole family. We know where we'll book next year, as these holidays were truly successful.
