This year, there was a bit of a revolution in our small family regarding our next short holiday in Vendée. My husband and I had decided to do extensive research on the internet to find our dream accommodation. We didn't want to go away for too long and we also wanted to be located not far from the seaside. We therefore needed to find a Camping who accepts rent on the Overnight stay and is sufficiently near the beach. Nous adorons le département de la Vendée That's a change from the Parisian gloom!
Why these requirements? First and foremost for the happiness and safety of our children, aged 4 and 7. Indeed, our children love to play on the beach, in contact with the elements and nature. It was out of the question for them to stay within the confines of the swimming pool all day!
We didn't want to drive for miles. There was also the issue of safety. We had estimated that the closer the beach, the safer the children would be on the walk...
As far as our schedule is concerned, it was impossible for us to leave for a full week. We had to find a Overnight camping, even for mobile home rentals. Overnight stays are often only available for pitches.
After much searching on the internet, we finally came across Camping les Alizés.
It's a family campsite with all the necessary facilities, and they agreed to let us stay for one or two nights.
This is a campsite located 800 m from the beach in the commune of Saint-Hilaire de Riez in Vendée.
We didn't happen upon this campsite by chance; we took the time to read all the reviews that had been posted by holidaymakers. Overall, the reviews suggest that people are very satisfied with the campsite's services and welcome.
And the cherry on top is that it is near the beaches, that it accepts nightly rentals and, above all, that it is located in the Vendée region. Because the Vendée has many activities for children. That's exactly what we were looking for!

Camping les Alizés has everything you could wish for and they were able to accommodate our request.
For anyone looking for a campsite that accepts location from the mobile home to the overnight stay and that is close to the beaches, it's a magnificent holiday destination in Vendée!
